Ingredients: vanilla ice cream, blueberries, milk, whipped cream
Stay healthy and don`t make any compromises. That is why we came up with the idea of buying wild blueberries from a mountain gatherer. These specific fruits are guaranteed to be 100% natural with no pesticides and no preservatives.
So to make this shake we invited some children to our restaurant and listened to their wishes. They wanted something sweet. We want them to be healthy so we new we had to find a way to make something sweet with less sugar and natural ingredients. So we asked them if they want to try a tasty milkshake and they all were a little reserved but we promised they would love it.
So we went in the kitchen and back in the storage we saw the box with fresh blueberries. The chef took a wide vessel and filled it up with blueberries and put it in the oven to roast until they burst and leave that red and creamy juice.
After the roasting process ended he took some Greek yogurt and filled up the blender with 4 cups. Then he added 3 cups of roasted blueberries and some malted milk powder and 2 cups of plain milk. You can also add whipped cream and instead of yogurt you can try vanilla ice cream. When he finished blending all together he put them in glasses and added some fresh blueberries on top so the kids would know what were they were really drinking. The lesson for them was that there is no need to add artificial coloring powders and sugar to end up with a sweet healthy and really energy boosting drink that you can enjoy all day long.
So yes, they have enjoyed the refreshment and we were happy they had a healthy drink. Try your milkshake!
